The Gibb River Group works alongside accounting due diligence providers to identify operational value creation potential in an acquisition target and develop your value creation plan.  A typical output of such an engagement is a 100-day post-closing value creation plan, and a 1-2-year longer-term cost improvement blueprint covering strategic sourcing, manufacturing efficiency and Breakthrough Cost Reduction opportunities, cross-functionally integrating the points of view of our clients’ R&D, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and marketing teams.

In some cases, The Gibb River Group ends up working alongside the portfolio company’s management team to implement the value creation plans, and in other cases the management team will capture the value potential independently.  Either scenario works for us, as we do whatever is right for our private-equity client.
